While real photography can be really cool, it’s also quite expensive. You often need an expensive camera or phone. Well VR doesn’t solve that, because you now need an expensive computer and headset. At least you don’t have to worry much about lighting and what not. I host most of my pictures on VRCPic, a cool nifty website that also automatically reads out the world you took the picture in if you run VRCX in the background.
There are a few assets that improve the camera experience, but honestly the default VRChat camera is more than plenty.
