Minecraft CozyPack Modset

CozyPack is a Create-centric mod set with as goal to be player-expressive. Progression is pretty vanilla with 3 major changes:

  1. Create has been added to make automatization easier. Technical Minecraft is just too much for me. Also this looks nicer.
  2. Getting to the End and fighting the Ender Dragon has been made more difficult. This to artificially increase the time people will “finish” the game and get bored of it.
  3. End game consists out of cooking, maxing out gear through Tetra and collectible hoarding. (Even though we all know the true end game is making estrogen on an industrial scale!)

Installation

  1. Install and launch Prism Launcher. If Prism does not launch, make sure you have the latest Visual C++ Redistributables installed.
  2. Select Add Instance in Prism Launcher.
  3. Go to the Import from ZIP-tab and paste in the download link: https://stuff.eax.rip/CozyPack.zip or alternately download the .zip and select the exported instance.
  4. Install Java JDK 17. I recommend using Adoptium Temurin (Download the JDK .msi for Windows). It should also be faster than Oracle’s.
  5. Edit the instance, go to settings and for the JAVA version select auto-detect. Then you can check with the test button if it worked.
  6. If not logged in, add your Microsoft/Minecraft account to the top right.

Thialfi

Thialfi is a invite-only Minecraft server running CozyPack. Once you have been invited you can join it at thialfi.eax.rip. There are no hard rules (so-far), but please keep in mind the following guidelines:

  • Please stick close to the center area/other players as this reduces lag.
  • Don’t go crazy with Create, money can only buy a server so good.
  • Don’t explore too far as this will eat my yummy SSD.
  • Be respectful and helpful to others!
  • Don’t try to rush the end, enjoy the view and build something nice to look at.
  • Mob griefing is off.

FAQ

Why is my UI hidden?

There’s a mod that hides the UI when not in use. Please bind the Toggle HUD keybind to toggle it.

What is Tetra?

Tetra is the cool kids version of tinker’s construct. Make a hammer (from the Tetra mod) and use it on a crafting table. You can now modify tools with this new tool station.

Why no Curse Launcher/other launcher?

Because I’m lazy and this was mostly for me. I only know how to export instances from Prism.
